I am a researcher and the co-leader (with Tibor Fegyó) of the Speech Recognition Group at BME-TMIT. I do mainly applied research in the field of LVCSR (Large Vocabulary Continuous Speech Recognition) but basic research and the development of experimental and industrial systems have been also parts of my activity. My current status at the University is Research Fellow II. I received MSc in Electrical Engineering at BME in 1999 and finished PhD formation also at BME in 2001. Since 1999 I work in the Speech Recognition Group formerly lead by Péter Tatai. Our group — joined recently to SpeechLab at BME-TMIT while preserving its autonomity — employs 5-6 young colleagues all with many years working experiences after their MSc. I give lectures in the field of Speech Processing, Speech Information Systems, and Telecommunications. Under graduated students or PhD students are encouraged to join our team. Industrial inquiries regarding speech recognition technologies (expertise, engines, acoustic and language models and complete systems — especially for Hungarian) are welcome. |
